EAFP’s membership in European Council for Pharmacy Education Accreditation (ECPhA) marks a new chapter in the collaboration of pharmacists and their organizations at the European level. After several discussions, including at the last two EAFP conferences, it is clear that pharmacists need continuous professional development (CPD) throughout their careers after completing five years of pharmacy education and training. EAFP should and will serve not only as a platform for exchanging good practices and developing undergraduate and master’s education under the Delegated Directive, but also as an active contributor to enhancing the quality of CPD.
