This year, the international Pharmacy Game team at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, is delighted to invite educators and professionals from around the world to the 5th PG International Symposium, where we will explore how simulation and gamification are reshaping pharmacy education and enhancing practice readiness.
The evolving healthcare landscape calls for new approaches in preparing the next generation of pharmacists. Innovative educational approaches, such as simulation-based learning and gamified experiences, are proving essential in equipping students with the skills, confidence, and adaptability required in real-world practice. This symposium will place these advancements at the forefront, highlighting their growing role in strengthening student learning outcomes and professional preparedness.
A central feature of this year’s event is the expanding global impact of the Pharmacy Game. What began as a novel educational initiative has grown into an international platform that connects universities, fosters collaboration, and enables the exchange of best practices across borders. Participants will have the opportunity to share insights, discuss experiences, and contribute to a collective vision for the future of pharmacy education. Marking the fifth edition of this Pharmacy Game event, the symposium aims to further strengthen the international community and inspire continued innovation in both pharmacy education and practice.
