EAFP Award for the Advancement of Pharmacy in Europe 2024

The European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (EAFP) is issuing a call for nominations for the ‘EAFP Award for the Advancement of Pharmacy in Europe’.

The scope is to recognise individuals who are contributing in an outstanding way to the development of pharmacy education.

Nomination procedure

The Jury is composed of all member organisations (membership for the past three years), through the Dean of the School or a delegate.

In a first round, each Jury member nominates three individuals considered to be worthy to receive the Award, ranked in decreasing order of preference.

The Jury members base their nomination on the following criteria :

  • A pharmacist active in supporting educational and professional developments
  • Demonstrated record of contribution to leadership and advocacy for the advancement of pharmacy education and the profession.

No restrictions are made with respect to nationality, origin (industry or academia) or specialization of the nominee.

In a second round, the six-ten individuals having received the highest nomination votes are resubmitted to the Jury members for the indication of their final preference.

The EAFP Executive Committee invites members to put forward nominations by 1 December 2023.

Successful Award recipient will be informed in March 2024 and award announced during the 2024 Annual Conference

Disclaimer:  The Award does not carry any financial reward.  A free registration to the 2024 Annual Conference is made available.  Awardee has to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
